Union Bank of Cameroon PLC is looking for services needs 01 HR MANAGER,
GENERALIST.Reporting line: Director of Human Resources

Main Mission(s):
He/she helps to support the current turnaround plan, performance and profitability of the Bank through the promotion and implementation of excellent HR services that will align with the overall management strategy through the selection process and recruitment, performance and talent management, training and development, employee relations management, compensation and benefits management, career planning and staff mobility.
Main responsibilities
Manage the employee life cycle: perform all administrative procedures related to recruitment, orientation of new employees and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing their accuracy and compliance;
Keep track of physical employee files, as well as digital databases containing personnel information, including their compensation, evaluation, contracts, disciplinary file, etc. ;
Provide guidance and advice for individual development and career progression;
Liaise with department heads to assess training needs, develop an annual training plan based on identified skills gaps and manage the implementation of the plan;
Assist the HRD in managing all aspects of staff selection, recruitment, development, mobility and compensation across the bank;
Develop and continuously update the staffing plan through discussions and interactions with department heads to ensure optimal headcount at all times as well as a balanced ratio in terms of workforce diversity staff ;
Candidate Profile
1. Academic Qualifications Required
Master's degree or equivalent in HRM, law, business administration, or any other social science management field
2. Professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience within an HR department, ideally in the banking/finance sector
3. Technical Skills
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics and cultural sensitivity;
Self-starter, problem-solver and in-depth knowledge of HR processes and policies;
Bilingualism (English/French) is an imperative, or at least the perfect mastery of one of the two languages;
Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite, payroll tax software and rules, HRIS systems, and be comfortable learning new systems as needed;
4. Interpersonal Skills / Leadership
High level of initiative and leadership, keen eye for detail;
Proven skills in people management and teamwork;
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence their decisions;
Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
